We are recruiting for a friendly and passionate Nursery Manager to work for a lovely 42 place Nursery based close to Kings Lynn. The Nursery is privately owned for a really kind and caring owner who is looking to expand the business. The nursery is all on 1 floor with free flow to the garden form the baby and preschool room. The role is full time working Monday to Friday and there is onsite staff parking available. You can be an experienced (office based) Deputy Manager looking for your next move as well as being an existing Nursery Manager seeking a new challenge.
The role of Nursery Manager will include:
- Overseeing the day to day management of the nursery and team
- Building strong relationships with parents, including doing the parent show rounds and registrations
- Ensuring high quality care and education is carried out within the rooms
- Peer on Peer observations and supervisions as well as role modelling best practice
- Ensuring risk assessments are carried out and Health & Safety is paramount
- Supporting the owner with all recruitment decisions.
- Inspiring leader to a team of 6+ staff
As the Nursery Manager you will need to have:
- Full and relevant early years qualification
- Previous experience managing a Nursery as a Deputy or Nursery Manager
- Able to lead and motivate a team
- Proven success at managing a Nursery to a high quality
- Excellent parent partnerships
